TPJAC warns against suppression of T-people rights

Hyderabad, August 29 : Telangana Political Joint Action Committee chairman Prof M Kodandaram on Thursday warned against the suppression of rights of Telangana region and its people.

Addressing a meeting of Progressive Recognised Teachers’ Union at Indira Park here, Kodandaram said that further suppression of Telangana people would not be tolerated. He said that the Telangana region suffered injustice for several decades and remained backward. He condemned the Seemandhra leaders for their interference in the formation of Telangana State.

Kondandaram appealed to the people to participate in large numbers in the Peace Rally to be held from City College in the Old City to Indira Park. He also announced that September 1 to 7th would be observed as Mulki Martyrs’ Week and different programmes would be organsied across the region. Programmes will be held in Greater Hyderabad on September 1st, Adilabad (Sept 2), in Nizambad (Sept 3), Karimnagar (Sept 4), Warangal (Sept 5) and in Mahabubnagar on September 6.
