Hyderabad, August 18 : The Andhra Pradesh Haj Committee in collaboration with the Kul Hind Janmiyaathul Mashaik organised an orientation training camp for the seleced Haj pilgrims at Jamia Masjid Azamura near Chaderghat here on Sunday.
Attended by thousands of pilgrims including lady pilgrims, the camp was addressed by eminent scholars and experts in Haj affairs. Malakpet MLA Ahmed Bin Abdullah Balala congratulated the pilgrims on their selection for the sacred journey. He praised the efforts of the Kul Hind Janmiyaathul Mashaik for conducting this camp for the past 18 years with the coordination of the Haj Committee.
SHC Executive Officer Abdul Hameed said that the first Haj flight would take off on September 25 and the last flight will leave on October 9. Altogether, 25 flights will carry the pilgrims of the State besides the pilgrims from five districts of neighbouring Karnataka State. The average stay in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be for duration of 35 days and all the flights will go to Jeddah and return from Madeenah after the Haj is over. He further said that the vaccination programme will be taken up after a fortnight and the health check-up is must for those above 65 years, pregnant women and children below 12 years.
Janmiyaathul Mashaik president Moulana Qazi Syed Azam Ali Soofi delivered the key note address and explained in detail the salient features of the Haj and Umrah rituals. Supported by the charts and models, he said that all the pilgrims must go on the pilgrimage with the sole intention of performing the Haj and Umrah and visiting the tomb of Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). He explained the rituals step by step including the process of entering the Holy Kaabaa in Makkah, how to perform Tawaf.
Moulana Mohammad Azamuddin Siddiqui, Secretary of Janmiyaathul Mashaik, explained the significance and importance of visiting the holy shrine of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). Moulana Mustafa Sayeed Quadri gave a practical demonstration wearing Ihraam, the two white sheets of cloth to be put on mandatory for all the male pilgrims during Haj. Moulana Syed Abul Fateh Bandagi Badshah Riyaz Pasha Quadri said that all the pilgrmis should follow the instructions issued by the Haj Committee, Customs Department, airport authorities and Indian consulate from time to time to avoid any difficulty and problems during this sacred journey. He advised them to carry the ID card in Madeenah Munnawarah.
