Hyderabad, August 18 : TDP Vice-President E Peddi Reddy on Sunday accused the Congress party of trying to gain political advantage over its decision to bifurcate the State.
Speaking to media persons here, Peddi Reddy said the decision to divide Andhra Pradesh to create Telangana State taken by the Congress party was solely aimed at making political gains. He said that the ruling party did not take into the considerations the objections and concerns of people living in coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema region. He said that the TDP was against injustice to any region in the State.
Peddi Reddy said that the Congress-led UPA Government believes not in resolution of problems, but it complicates them further in order to gain political mileage. Similar strategy was adopting in resolving the Telangana issue, he said. INN
