Hyderabad, Aug 3 : Primary Education Minister S Sailajanath on Saturday asked TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao to restrain from making provocative statements.
Talking to reporters at the Congress Legislature Party office here, Sailajanath said that the Congress High Command has only announced its decision on Telangana and a separate State is not yet created. Therefore, he said that KCR should avoid making controversial statements and stop treating Hyderabad as “his Jagir”. He said as per the Constitution of India, every Indian has a right to live and work anywhere in the entire country.
Stating that Seemandhra people were not dependent on anyone, Sailajanath said that KCR himself was a settler as he migrated from Vizianagaram.
He said that the Congress leaders were pained at the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. However, he wondered why the TDP and YSR Congress party leaders, who supported formation of Telangana in writing, are now giving resignations.
Congress leaders Kondru Murali Mohan, Rudraraju Padmaraju, Gade Venkat Reddy and P Venkat Rao were also present. INN
