Hyderabad, June 29 : The Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Saturday held a detailed review meeting with Minister, higher officials of the Revenue, IT and Registration departments on the integration of revenue and registration departments at Secretariat.
Officials presented to the Chief Minister that the NIC, Hyderabad has developed a software module for integration of Registration transactions with the land records data in a decentralised environment. It was pilot tested in 3 districts of Chittoor, Warangal and Ranga Reddy.
Later a decision was taken to go for a centralised architecture in both Revenue and Registration departments. Land records data was ported to SDC and Registration department is also centralised all Sub-registrar transactions. It is decided to enhance NIC’s Webland software with a provision to upload sub-division survey map of each sub-division against that particular land record. This may take 6 months to one year to complete all the 4 crores sub-divisions.
Meetings have been held on Integration of Revenue, Survey & Registration Records by the CCLA. Integration of Revenue and registration would improve transparency, reduce corruption and operations become seamless.
The Chief Minister directed the officials to expedite the integration process so that the people of Andhra Pradesh will have easy, transparent and seamless registrations and mutations online anywhere in the State.
