Hyderabad, June 25 : The CBI Special court on Tuesday adjourned the hearing on the agency’s memos for judicial custody of former ministers P Sabitha Indra Reddy and Dharmana Prasada Rao in onnection with the quid pro quo case to July 1.
It may be recalled that both the ministers filed memos asking the court to direct the CBI to submit the original CDs that were submitted before the court as evidence. Following the court orders, CBI submitted video clippings of press conferences addressed by them in which they claimed innocence.
Earlier, the CBI filed memos in the CBI special court at Nampally seeking judicial custody on June 7. Taking the cognizance of the fifth chargesheet, Sabitha attended court twice along with 11 others. She was charged with allotting 407 acres in Kadapa district as a minister for mines. Dharmana Prasada Rao too was facing charges in Vanpic case. INN
