Water supply to be hit on Wednesday

 Hyderabad, February 11: In view of the regular maintenance of 33 KV feeder to Singoor raw water pumping station by APTRANSCO on Wednesday and the proposed shifting/replacing the air valves, scour valves and replacing the sluice valves / BF valves by HMWSSB on Manjira Phase-III gravity main from Singapur to Lingampally, the Water Supply will be closed on this line for 24 hours from 6 AM on Wednesday.

The consumers to be affected by this are those supplied by the reservoirs of Lingampally and Hydernagar. They include consumers in operation and maintenance Divisions, VI, VII (Part) IX, XII, XIII, XV. The affected areas Kukatpally, Qutbullahpur, Alwal, Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, Ameerpet, Erragadda and Prakashnagar. The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board have requested the consumers in these areas to store adequate water to meet the exigency.
