Hyderabad, Dec 5 : GHMC Commissioner and Election Authority MT Krishna Babu has informed that Langar Houz division corporator B Ravi Yadav of MIM has been disqualified.

Ravi Yadav has been disqualified following the Andhra Pradesh High Court order which upheld the orders issued by the Chief Judge cum Election Tribunal, City Civil Court, Hyderabad in OP No 638/2010 declaring Ravi Yadav’s election as void.

It may be mentioned that earlier Borabanda corporator Vanaja of Congress party was also disqualified. Therefore, the GHMC is now preparing to conduct elections in Borabanda and Langar Houz divisions.
