Three more batches of Haj pilgrims return home

Hyderabad, Nov 9 : Three more batches of pilgrims have returned to the city from Holy Madina on Saturday after performing Haj 2013.

Andhra Pradesh State Haj Committee (SHC) Special Officer Prof SA Shukoor, Executive Office Abdul Hameed and other officials received the pilgrims at the Haj Terminal of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad. While the first batch comprising 350 pilgrims reached the city at 7 AM, two more batches with 300-pilgrims returned in other chartered flights.

So far, as many as 6,463 Haj pilgrims from the State have returned home through 21 chartered flights of Saudi Airlines. Two more batches of Haj pilgrims will return to the city on Sunday, November 10. INN
