Naidu exhorts youth to join active politics

Hyderabad, Nov 9 : Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday exhorted youth to join active politics for the strengthening the democracy in the country.

Speaking at the second day of the brain-storming session at party’s headquarters NTR Trust Bhavan here, Naidu said that there was an urgent need to promote youth in politics. He said that youth have played an active role in exposing corruption and irregularities in the country. They must play a similar role in electoral politics too, he said.

Naidu said that thousands of jobs have been lost due to corruption at various levels in the Congress-ruled State and country. The situation has turned so worse that those employed were not getting their pay on time. Therefore, in order to eradicate corruption and embezzlements, the youth must be encouraged in politics at all levels.

The TDP chief called upon the youth to join the movement for the total reformation of the country. Several senior TDP leaders participated in the meeting. INN
