Man succumbs to burn injuries

Hyderabad, Nov 2 : A 35-year-old man died of burn injuries which he suffered after a lamp fell on him.

According to Shamshabad police, the deceased, P Siddaiah lit a kerosene lamp and kept it on a table at his residence in Piloniguda while there was power cut in his area on October 30. While he was asleep, the lamp accidentally fell on him causing severe burn injuries. He was immediately rushed to the Osmania General Hospital where he died on Saturday.
Guilt-stricken son commits suicide

Hyderabad, Nov 2 : A 22-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging allegedly due to the guilt of beating up his father.

The deceased, B Omkar, took the extreme step at his residence in Weaker Section Colony at Ibrahimbagh on Friday night. According to Golconda police, Omkar had an argument with his father Adi Narayana about two days and he also beat up his father. He was reportedly upset after the incident and apparently out of guilt he resorted to the extreme, police said.
Medical shop worker electrocuted

Hyderabad, Nov 2 : A salesman of a medical shop died on the spot when he was electrocuted after coming in contact with a live wire.

According to Bahadurpura police, the deceased, D Praveen Kumar, was electrocuted while he was removing an iron flexi of Rishi Medical Hall in Bahadurpura area on Friday night and it came in contact with a live electric wire. He was a resident of Nandimuslaiguda of Secunderabad.
Three killed in road accidents

Hyderabad, Nov 2 : Three persons were killed in different cases of road accidents.

A 21-year-old boy, B Dattatreyya, suffered grievous injuries after he fell down from a running auto-rickshaw on Shahabad road on Friday. He was admitted to the Osmania General Hospital where he died on Saturday. He was a native of Palvapadu village in Prakasam and came to the city to celebrate Diwali with his parents who live in city.

In another case, 20-year-old Md Rasheed succumbed to the injuries which he suffered on October 15 after the bike he was riding skidded near his residence in Shahbad. He suffered a head injury and was admitted to the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences where he died on Friday night.

In a separate case, 33-year-old Syed Aslam Inamdar, an employee of Genpact, was grievously injured when the Alto car he was driving was hit by a speeding lorry on Annojiguda Road on Friday night. On being rushed to a nearby hospital, he was declared brought dead. Ghatkesar police are investigating the case.
Man falls from tree, dies

Hyderabad, Nov 2 : A 49-year-old man died of a head injury that he suffered after falling from a mango tree while plucking leaves from a Mango tree for Diwali festival.

The deceased, C Dayanand, fell down from the tree near his residence at Alwal on Friday. He was admitted to the Gandhi Hospital where he died on Saturday, according to Alwal police.
Man injured in chemicals’ blast dies

Hyderabad, Nov 2 : A 38-year-old man died of injuries that he suffered after a blast in some chemicals kept in his medical shop.

According to Gandhi Nagar police, the incident happened in a medical shop in its limits on October 29. The owner, P Bhaskar, got seriously injured in the blast and was admitted to a private hospital for treatment. He died on Saturday morning. Further investigations are on.
