Congress confusing people over Telangana: Kavita

Hyderabad, July 21 : Telangana Jagruti president K Kavita on Sunday accused the Congress party of subjecting people of Telangana to mental torture by unleashing a series of confusing statements.

Talking to reporters here, Kavita said that the Congress leaders have been issuing confusing statements for the past two months on the statehood issue. She said that a long debate was initiated in the name of Congress Core Committee meeting and people of the region were forcibly involved with the event as they were waiting for a positive response. However, they were given a major shock after the CCC deferred the decision and now a similar act was being played with the regard to the meeting of Congress Working Committee.

Kavita alleged that while Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy was selectively leaking information against Telangana region, PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana was frequently changing his version. She said that the Congress party could not be trusted on the Telangana issue and the asked people to accost and question ministers from the region for their silence against the Chief Minister and PCC President.
