Awareness Program on “Electronics & IT Goods Order on July 23 at FAPCCI

Hyderabad, July 18 : The Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI) in association with the Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DEITY), Government of India is organizing an Awareness Program on “Electronics and Information Technology Goods (Requirement of Compulsory Registration) Order, 2012” on July 23, 2013 at 4.00 pm at Federation House, Red Hills, Hyderabad.

The Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DEITY), Government of India has issued the “Electronics and Information Technology Goods (Requirement of Compulsory Registration) Order, 2012” which has come into effect from 3rd July 2013 mandating compliance to Indian Safety Standards and Compulsory Registration with Bureau of Indian Standards by the stakeholders including manufacturers, stockiest, importers, distributors etc., of electronic goods.

In this connection, FAPCCI and DEITY is jointly organizing this awareness program on “Electronics and Information Technology Goods (Requirement of Compulsory Registration) Order, 2012”. Arun Sachdeva, Senior Director, DEITY and Anil Chawla, Director, DEITY, Government of India, New Delhi will address the delegates.
