Hyderabad, May 22 : GHMC Mayor Mohammed Majid Hussain has directed GHMC Commissioner M T Krishna Babu to conduct weekly reviews on the functioning of GHMC 24/7 call centre (155304). Mayor held a review meeting with GHMC Commissioner, Additional Commissioner (Admn.) and Additional Commissioner (IT) about the call centre in his chambers today.
Mayor has appreciated the functioning of call centre and the escalation mechanism maintained there and he was very furious about the working style of ground level staff, who are not at all performing their duties and irresponsible while transacting the grievances stating that the complaint has been attended without even looking to it. He further informed that he was getting lot of complaints with regard to functioning of call centre for which he was forced to make a surprise visit to the call centre to know the facts.
Majid Hussain directed the Commissioner that stringent action has to be taken against the staff including the Deputy Commissioners for their negligent attitude in performing the duties with regard to call centre grievances. He further directed the Additional Commissioner (IT) to correct the information regarding transfers of the field level staff in the data base of call centre at regular intervals. INN
