Temperatures soar

Hyderabad, May 21 : The state is reeling under severe heat wave with temperatures touching 46 degrees.

Rentachintala in Guntur district and Ramagundam in Adilabad have recording the highest temperature of 46 degrees today.

Telangana and parts of Rayalaseem and Coastal Andhra also remained hot.

Adilabad, Hanmakonda, Nalgonda and Nizamabad recorded 45 degress while Nandigama, Bhadrachalam had seen 43 degrees temperature.

Vijayawada, Mabubnagar, Medak, Kurnool, Tiurpati was hot at 42 degrees while Kavali Nellore, Ongole, the city and Ananthapuram recroded 41 degrees.

The heat wave will continue for some more days, but there would respite as the monsoon would strike the state early. INN
