Hyderabad, May 18 : Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana on Saturday made it clear that the Congress High Command would take a final call on the issue of tainted ministers and Telangana demand.
Talking to reporters at Gandhi Bhavan here, Botsa said that the Congress High Command had an in-depth discussion on both the issues and therefore, the Central leadership would take a final decision on the same.
With reference to the joining of senior TDP leader Kadiam Srihari in Telangana Rashtra Samithi, the PCC chief ruled out the possibilities of Congress MPs or MLAs joining the TRS. He said the Telangana Congress MPs had deliberations with senior leaders and they were satisfied with the assurances given by Congress president Sonia Gandhi and vice-president Rahul Gandhi.
Earlier, in an informal chat with the media persons, Botsa hoped that the posts in SC, ST and Women Commissions would be filled in the next three to four days. However, he said the posts in other corporations would be filled, if necessary. When asked for reaction on TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu meeting Governor on the tainted ministers’ issue, he said that Naidu himself was a tainted leader and has been surviving by taking stay orders from different courts on the probes ordered against him. He said it was ridiculous on the part of Naidu to seeking dismissal of some ministers while he himself bears a tainted image. INN
