New Delhi, April 19 : Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha called on Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad here on Friday.
The Deputy Chief Minister has reportedly discussed the prevailing political situation in the State with Azad. They also had discussions on the strategy to be adopted for 2014 elections.
It may be mentioned that Rajanarasimha was summoned by the Congress High Command to discuss the latest political situation. Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, PCC Chief Botsa Satyanarayana and other senior leaders too called by the High Command to discuss the fall out due to naming of Home Minister P Sabitha Indira Reddy in the CBI’s chargesheet in Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Disproportionate Assets case.
There were also speculations that Rajanarasimha might be entrusted the portfolio of Home Ministry by removing Sabitha from the cabinet through a minor reshuffle. However, the cabinet expansion or reshuffle has been put on hold till May first week in view of Assembly elections in Karnataka. INN
