Hyderabad, April 18 : Governor ESL Narasimhan has congratulated Ravuri Bharadwaja for winning Gyanpeeth Award.
In a letter, the Governor has conveyed his best wishes to the veteran writer who won the coveted award for his book Pakudu Rallu. Close on the heels of Telugu attaining Classical Language status and the celebrations of World Telugu Conference, the Award coming to a Telugu writer is of great significance, he said.
A prolific writer, who studied life from the closest possible angle, Bharadwaja will go into the annals of Telugu history as a writer whose propensity with reality has produced many works ranging from novels, to plays to children literature and essays. INN
