New Delhi, February 22 : The Centre has sent five companies of paramilitary forces to Hyderabad to strengthen law and order in the wake of twin blasts.
According to Home Ministry, 500 personnel of CRPF and Rapid Action Force have been sent to Hyderabad for security purpose. This is in addition to the 5,000 security personal already deployed in Andhra Pradesh to tackle the frequent protests on Telangana issue.
The home ministry has sounded high alert across the country following the twin blasts. States have been asked to beef up security in sensitive places including markets, religious places, railway stations, bus stands, airports and other installations, the officials said. INN
