CID denies submitting report on Shankar Rao case

Hyderabad, February 20 : Additional DGP (CID) T Krishna Prasad on Wednesday clarified that no report was submitted in the episode of former minister Dr P Shankar Rao.

In a statement, the Additional DGP said that a particular news channel has falsely quoted him as saying that a report has been submitted on the issue of taking Dr Shankar Rao in custody. “This news is absolutely false and no report was submitted in this regard,” he said adding that no statement was issued to the media.

However, Krishna Prasad said that if there was any information to be shared, the same will be done as and when required. INN
