Hyderabad, Aug 10 (INN): Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has directed his party MPs to raise the issue of delegation of special powers to Governor in Hyderabad in the Lok Sabha.
Chairing a meeting of TRS MPs here on Sunday, KCR reportedly asked them to move an adjournment motion in the Lok Sabha on Monday against the Centre’s dictate on granting powers of Law & Order in common capital area of Hyderabad to Governor. He also advised them to take the support of JD (U) and Trinamool Congress members to raise the issue in the House. He informed the party MPs he already spoke to the Chief Ministers of Maharashtra, Orissa and Tamil Nadu in this regard seeking their support.
KCR reportedly said the Centre’s move was an attempt to encroach upon the rights of the State in handling the Law and Order subject.
