Cyberabad police apprehended chain snatching gang

Hyderabad, Mar 3 : Cyberabad police apprehended a four members snatching gang and recovered 272 Grams of Gold Jewellery , Net cash rupees 10 thousand, lap top and five motor cycles.

Accused persons A1 Pulkuri Susheel Kumar @ Bablu (21) S/o P Samluck, an auto driver R/o Sitaphal Mandi, Secunderabad. A2 Imroze Khan @ Nadeemullah Khan (30) S/o Rasheed Khan, a car driver R/o Seetafalmandi, Secunderabad. A3 Stanley @ Sunny (22) S/o Immanuel, a B Com student R/o Devi homes, Boduppal, A4 Souri Nadan Ashwin (23) S/o Devanadan, an auto driver R/o Manikeshwar Nagar, OU Hyderabad who are involved A1 involved in (19) cases; A2 involved in (15) cases in Cyberabad and twin cities; while A3 involved in four cases and A4 involved in two cases in Cyberabad limits.

A2 Imroz who has actively involved in the snatching and vehicle lifting cases, he has purchased gold jewelry in all the snatching cases from Susheel Kumar at a throwaway price.

Total property recovered: 272 grams of gold jewelery, Rs 10,000 Net cash; One Laptop; and Five motorbikes, one black Bajaj Pulsar belonging to A2 Imroz and one red colour Bajaj Pulsar motorbike belonging to friend of A4 Souri Nadan Ashwin which the accused used in committing snatchings.

Modus Operandi:The A1 Susheel Kumar is close friend of A2 Imroz, while A3 Stanley and A4 Ashwin are the cousin and brother-in-law of A1 Susheel.

A1 Susheel is an auto driver. He got attracted snatchings and vehicle lifting by watching news in TV channels and shared the same to his close friend A2 Imroz in order to make easy money. He has also induced his cousin Stanley who is a student of B Tech and brother-in-law Ashwin and committed vehicle lifting and snatching of gold chain from lonely women in various places of twin cities and Cyberabad.
A2 Imroz had worked as auto driver by hiring the auto, but recently he purchased a van and using it for his livelihood. He has teamed up with Susheel when he told about snatching and vehicle lifting because he was also not earning much in his profession and committed several vehicles lifting and snatching from lonely women. He has retained almost all stolen jewelry with him and gave fewer amounts to his associate Susheel and Stanley.

A3 Stanley is cousin of A1 Susheel and was pursuing B Tech in Holy Mary college of Keesara. As he addicted to bad vices he started borrowing money here and there. In one occasion when he approached Susheel Kumar for money for paying college fees, they both started committing snatchings and made money. In that process he has committed four snatching offences.

A4 Ashwin is the brother-in-law of A1 Susheel (his sister’s husband). He is also auto driver and due to insufficient earnings to pull on the family he has teamed up with Susheel and Imroz. He committed a robbery in the company of Imroz in Kukatpally PS and robbed Rs 36,500 from the victim, and also attempted a snatching along with his brother-in-law Susheel in Malkajgiri PS limits.

As the snatchings and vehicle lifting are on increase in Malkajgiri division, a special team has been formed and pressed into action. Under the supervision of ACP Malkajgiri Ch. Chenaiah, Malkajgiri PS staff and Balanagar CCS staff worked hard and put up systematic information and trapped the accused and detected as many as 20 cases, under the overall supervision of the Addl. DCP Crime G. Janakisharmila and DCP Malkajgiri, Cyberabad. koteshwar Rao Said.   INN
