ACB unearths Rs 81,000 of bribe at RTA check post

Hyderabad, Nov 20 : The Anti-Corruption Bureau officials have recovered an amount of Rs. 81,000 during a surprise check conducted on the RTA check post at Zaheerabad of Medak district.

The cash was recovered from two private agents during the check conducted in the late hours on Tuesday. The private agents were allegedly engaged by P Ramesh Babu, MVI, along with the office staff – G.Muthyalu, Transport Constable and T Narayana, Home Guard. AMVIs – K Ravinder Reddy and S Jayapraksh Reddy were found absent unauthorisedly. Further investigations are going on. INN
