New Delhi, Nov 12 : Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday made it clear that his party wants a Telangana State without any restrictions or conditions.
Talking to reporters after making representation to Group of Ministers (GoM) along with TRS Secretary General K Keshav Rao here, KCR said that the GoM has been clearly conveyed that there should not be any hassles, legal or administrative, after the formation of Telangana State. Stating that there were several contradicting reports on the possible status of Hyderabad after bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, he said the people of Telangana would not accept any conditions or control over the State capital. Telangana State should enjoy all rights and freedom on par with other 28 States in the country. Any conditions on Telangana State would be insult to its people, he said.
KCR condemned Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu for boycotting the meeting with the GoM.
The TRS chief hoped Telangana State to be a reality in the month of December. When asked about his party’s merger with the Congress, KCR said that a decision on merger would be taken after the Telangana Bill gets passed in the Parliament. INN
