Rajahmundry, Nov 10 : The Seemandhra Advocates JAC on Sunday demanded the cancellation of second one day match between India and West Indies scheduled to be played at Visakhapatnam on November 24.
Speaking to media persons here, SAJAC convener M Subba Rao said that the JAC has passed a resolution seeking cancellation of match at Vizag and the same has been conveyed to the concerned cricket associations. He said that it was incorrect on the part of the Centre to conduct a match at Visakhapatnam Stadium while deciding to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh against the wishes of crores of Telugus. Hundreds of people are on streets protesting against the Centre’s decision and it will be improper to hold a cricket match under the present situation, he said. INN
