Hyderabad, Nov 9 : MBT leader and Azampura Corporator Amjadullah Khan Khaled on Saturday asked the people to be cautious as some miscreants were trying to instigate communal tension in the Old City.
Amjadullah Khan said that three vehicles were burnt by some anti-social elements in Vinayak Vedhi in Chaderghat police limits under his Azampura Division. This was the third incident, which he said was aimed at creating communal tension, in his division. “It was more astonishing that the vehicles belonged to a Mouzan of a Masjid and a caretaker of a Temple. The religious personalities of both the communities were targeted to spread communal tension. A few days ago, the vehicle of a BJP leader was burnt in the same locality and there was an incident of flesh throwing in a Mandir,” he said.
Appealing people of both Hindu and Muslim communities to maintain peace, the MBT leader said that the Inspector of Chadeghat Police Station assured him of taking necessary steps to arrest the culprits and CCTV cameras would be installed in all the three slums Kamal Nagar,Moosa Nagar and Vinayak Vedhi. Amjadullah Khan met the leaders of both the communities and also the committee members of Mandir and Masjid and applead them to help the police in arresting the real culprits. INN
