Hyderabad, Nov 3: The State-unit of Communist Party of India (Marxist) on Sunday reiterated that it was against the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
CPI-M State Secretary BV Raghavulu told reporters that in response to the letter sent by Ministry of Home Affairs Joint Secretary Suresh Kumar seeking party’s opinion on the bifurcation issue, the party has made it clear that it was against the division of Andhra Pradesh. He said that the CPI-M has made its stand clear on earlier occasions and still stand by it. Therefore, he said that the party would offer no response to the Group of Ministers (GoM) on Telangana.
