Hyderabad, Oct 30 : Giving major relief to YSR Congress Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the CBI Court at Nampally on Wednesday relaxed the bail conditions enabling him to tour Andhra Pradesh and visit Delhi.
The CBI Court took the decision after hearing an petition filed by Jagan Mohan Reddy on October 11 seeking permission to relax bail conditions.
In a memo filed before the court, Jagan sought relaxations in bail conditions that prevented him from leaving Hyderabad without court’s permission. Stating that he leads political party and represents Kadapa Lok Sabha seat in Parliament, he requested the court to give relaxation in bail conditions. He sought court’s permission to tour Andhra Pradesh besides visiting New Delhi.
Jagan, who was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation in the Disproportionate Assets case, was granted conditional bail by the CBI Court on September 23, almost 16 months after his arrest. INN
