Hyderabad, August 23 : The Andhra Pradesh Road Transport Corporation has suffered a loss of over Rs 200 crore due to the Samaikhyandhra agitation in the coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions.
Talking to reporters here, RTC Managing Director AK Khan said that the corporation has been suffering a loss of Rs 13 crore per day due to the strike. He said that the RTC was on the verge of economic disaster and its very existence would be in question if the strike continues for a few more days.
Meanwhile, Transport Minister and PCC President Botsa Satyanarayana on Friday held a meeting with the RTC Samaikhyandra JAC leaders at his residence at Ministers’ Quarters. Sources said that the JAC leaders assured to take a decision on strike after the APNGOs representatives meet Central leaders in New Delhi from August 26th to 28th. INN
