New Delhi, August 21 : Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar called on Congress president and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi here on Wednesday.
The duo has reportedly discussed the latest political situation in the State, especially the fall out of Samaikhyandhra agitation going on in coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema region. The Chief Minister reportedly admitted before Sonia Gandhi that the State administration was badly hit due to the indefinite strike of the APNGOs and other organisations. However, he assured his party chief that he would take immediate steps to bring normalcy in the State. He also expressed his disapproval over the decision to bifurcate the State.
It may be mentioned that Kiran Kumar Reddy already received a pat from AICC General Secretary and State Congress Affairs incharge Digvijay Singh for handling the crisis effectively. INN
