Governor celebrates ‘Raksha Bandhan’ with school kids

Hyderabad, August 20 : Governor ESL Narasimhan on Tuesday celebrated ‘Raksha Bandhan’ with several school children.

Along with his wife Vimala, he freely mingled with scores of school children at an hour-long get-together organized for them at the Darbar Hall at the Raj Bhavan here to mark the occasion.

Dressed in their colourful best, several school girls tied equally colourful ‘rakhis’ on his hand.

Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said that Raksha Bandhan affirmed the brother-sister love and affection. It was an occasion which brought the siblings closer, he added. INN
