Congress leaders condemn attack on VHR’s vehicle

Hyderabad, August 17 : Former minister Dr P Shankar Rao alleged that some Seemandhra leaders incited the activists to attack the vehicle of Rajya Sabha MP V Hanumantha Rao in Tirupati on Saturday.

Talking to reporters in the Assembly premises, Shankar Rao said that the attack was planned and aimed at humiliating the senior Congress leaders and a Telangana protagonist. He said that the incident occurred in the native district of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and therefore, he must act tough against those responsible.

Congress MLCs KR Amos and Yadav Reddy also condemned the attack on VHR’s vehicle. INN
