Hyderabad, Aug 10: Medical Education Minister Kondru Murali Mohan on Saturday alleged that the ministers from Telangana region were highly corrupt.
Addressing a press conference at the Congress Legislature Party office here, Kondru said that several ministers and leaders from Telangana were involved in corrupt activities at a large scale. He alleged that former minister Komatireddy Venkatreddy made a fortune out of corruption in Jalayagnam project. He said that there were several instances wherein ministers and leaders from the region indulged in corrupt activities.
Kondru also condemned the leaders from Telangana for criticising Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy. Referring to the recent statements, he said that while the statement made by Union Minister S Jaipal Reddy does not match his stature, Karimnagar MP Ponnam Prabhakar had no stature to speak about the Chief Minister. Further, he said that TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao had no rights to comment against Kiran Kumar Reddy.
