Make health your ‘new high’ in life, not drugs

Hyderabad, June 25 : On the occasion of International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking-2013, a consortium of NGO in Greater Hyderabad with the support of APSACS decided to organize a rally from Sudarshan Theater (RTC Cross Roads) to Ramakrishna Mutt (Opposite to Indira Park) at 2.30 PM which culminates into a public meeting from 3.00 PM to 5.00 PM on June 26.

On 7 December 1987, the General Assembly decided to observe 26 June of every year as the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. The theme of this year is “Make health your ‘new high’ in life, not drugs”.

C Partha Sarathi IAS, Project Director, APSACS will flag off the rally, V B Kama Lasan Reddy IPS, Deputy Commissioner Of Police, Central Zone will be the Chief Guest, Vemoori Radha Krishna, Managing Director, Andhra Jyothi and Dr. Swamy Bodhamayanandya garu, Director-Swamy Vivekananda Institute of Human Excellence, Rama Krishna Mutt-Hyderabad will be the Key Speakers. Kailash Ditya, Joint Director (TI)-APSACS will be the speaker.

Students of various colleges, NGO/CBO partners and other stake holders will participate in the meeting. INN
