CBI Joint Director transferred

Hyderabad, June 7 : CBI Joint Director V V K Lakshminarayana is transferred.

The Maharashtra cadre officer is transferred to his own home state. He has come here on a 7-year deputation as DIG in June 2006.

During his stay here he dealt with important cases like Satyam Computers scam, Obulampuram Mining case, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Disproportionate Assets (DA) case among others.

In the bail scam, he was responsible for the arrest of CBI judge.

Arunachalam of Chennai will hold additional charge in the absence of Lakshminarayana. INN
