TDP remarks baseless: YSRCP

Hyderabad, May 19 : The YSR Congress party has lashed out at the TDP leaders who have been passing uncharitable remarks and stooping low to gain political mileage.

“TDP leaders Varla Ramaiah and Revanth Reddy seem to have lost balance of mind and coherence in speech as they have been speaking in a tone and tenor that carries no conviction, ‘Party SC Cell convenor Nalla Suryaprakash told reporters here on Sunday.

While they have professed that people will be leaving YSRCP and the party is in trouble, it the other way round in reality, he said. The exodus from TDP has started long back and has gained momentum when Chandrababu Naidu was on his padayatra. Leadership crisis and inefficiency is clearly visible in TDP.

On May 21 Koneru Konappa along with his followers will be joining YSRCP at Adilabad. TDP on the other hand is battling dissent within and is trying hard to keep its flock together.

Since Chandrababu Naidu and Adolf Hitler share the common date of birth, it is false propaganda that they are good at. They have been targeting YSRCP as TDP leadership is unable to control its cadre and leaders while YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s popularity rating is soaring.

He alleged that Naidu has been facing allegations of involvement in many scams and no court or inquiry has given him a clean chit as he never faced a trial. The TDP leader was responsible for closure of 50 PSUs and cooperative institutions. Chandrababu Naidu henchmen have been carrying out a sustained propaganda against YSRCP and people are not in a position to believe them, he said.

They have been time and again raking up the Paritala Ravindra murder case, though YSR had openly told in the assembly to order a CBI probe on the issue. Naidu’s role in the issue also has to be questioned, he said. INN
