1-EME Centre celebrates 67th Raising Day

Hyderabad, April 2 : The 1-EME Centre of the Indian Army on Tuesday celebrated its 67th Raising Day in its premises at Bolarum.

The ISO 9001: 2008 certified, 1 EME Centre is one of the most prestigious Training Institutions of the Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (EME) and has recently won the Golden Peacock National Training Award for excellence in training .

The celebrations commenced with a Special Sainik Sammelan on Tuesday morning, in which the Commandant of 1 EME Centre, Brig. J S Dhull addressed the troops and awarded the Commandant’s Overall Championship Banner to 1 Training Battalion. The Commandant also felicitated the best workers in recognition to the hard work put in by them.

1 EME Centre has also produced a number of outstanding sportsmen who have won large number of medals in various events at national level. INN
