BDL organises Civil Vendors Meet

Hyderabad, June 27: Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) organised Civil Vendors Meet at its corporate office in Hyderabad on Tuesday. The objective of the Vendors meet was to enhance the Vendor base of BDL required to address the expansion plans of the Company.

BDL has three manufacturing units. To meet the increasing demands of the Indian Armed Forces and to tap the export potential of its products, BDL is setting up two more manufacturing facilities in India.

Representatives from over 55 companies from Civil and Infra Structure sector from all over India participated in the event. The programme was inaugurated by BDL CMD V. Udaya Bhaskar. ED(P&A) Dr NK Raju welcomed the gathering. Director(Finance), Director (Production) and Director (Technical) spoke on the occasion. GM (SAM, BM & BD) and Chairman Organizing Committee spoke on various infrastructure projects likely to come in future.

Deliberations were held on several topics which included GST, Energy Conservation in Building Code and Facility Management, Project Management. During the interactive session, doubts/clarifications raided by the participants were duly addressed by the Management. AGM (Civil) Anil Verma delivered the vote of thanks. (INN)
