New Delhi, March 13 : While replying to a discussion on the Railway Budget 2013-14 in Lok Sabha on Wednesday, Railways Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal announced introduction of new additional trains in the South Central Railway.
The New Trains (Originating) to be introduced are Secunderabad-Yesvantpur Express (Tri-weekly) via Kurnool Town and Tandur-Secunderabad MEMU Passenger. The new trains (Passing Through) are Hatia (Ranchi) – Yesvantpur Express (Weekly) and Mumbai – Karaikal (For Velankanni) Express (Weekly) via Chennai, Nagapattinam.
The frequency of Train No. 12761/12762 Karimnagar – Tirupati Express will be increased from one day a week to two days a week. The frequency of Mangalore-Kacheguda Express (Weekly) announced in Railway Budget 2013-14 will be increased from one day a week to two days a week.
The frequency of Train No. 17213/17214 Narsapur-Nagarsol (Near Sainagar Shirdi) Express announced in Railway Budget 2013-14 will be increased from three days a week to daily. The train will run via Guntur, Nadikudi, Nalgonda and Secunderabad for two days a week and via the original route i.e., Kazipet and Secunderabad for remaining five days of the week. The Kakinada-Mumbai Express (Weekly) announced in Railway Budget 2013-14 will be run via Guntur-Nadikudi- Nalgonda and Bibinagar, according to the Railway Minister. INN
