Hyderabad, February 23 : The Telangana Rashtra Samithi on Saturday demanded that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy resign from his post owing moral responsibility for the Dilsukhnagar twin blast.
Talking to reporters here, TRS leader Shravan alleged that the Chief Minister had no control over the administration and law and order in the State. He said that it was due to the government’s negligence that the terrorists were able to execute two blasts in Dilsukhnagar area. Stating that an alert administration and police would have foiled the terror attack, he demanded that Kiran Kumar Reddy step down from his post.
The TRS leader also accused the Chief Minister of misusing the intelligence department to keep a tab on his rivals, belonging to both Congress and other opposition parties. He said that the State Police and Intelligence Wings should be freed from political clutches to ensure that they protect the lives of common people from the terrorists’ attacks. INN
