Narsapur, January 23 : Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Wednesday said that the uncertainty over the Telangana issue will soon be resolved.
Speaking at public meeting on part of his Medak district tour, he said, the air will be cleared and clarity will come on the issue soon. He also hoped that the Centre will take a favoruable decision on the long pending issue.
Distancing himself from the arrest of Asaduddin Owaisi, he said, the government has nothing to do with the issue. “Anyone trying to disturb communal harmony will be firmly dealt with,” he said.
On elections to local bodies, he said there are some litigations and the polls will be held once the matter is cleared. The issue is about reservations and we will adhere to the Supreme Court verdict on the issue to conduct the polls. INN
