Hyderabad, Nov 16 : The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation on Friday informed that online registrations were mandatory for the candidates seeking to attend the Central Zone Job Mela to be held on November 20 at Banjara Function Hall, Road No. 12, Banjara Hills.
According to GHMC Mayor the online registration was being mandatory to avoid heavy rush at the venue. He said that the decision has been taken keeping in view the Job Mela experience of South Zone. He said that till now 2,618 candidates have registered their applications online and the same list would be forwarded to the employers for preliminary selection.
The Mayor on Friday held a review meeting along with Central Zone Commissioner Ronald Rose and other concerned officials at his chambers. He said that the GHMC would be providing uniform to the volunteers for identification for better coordination in the job mela. He further directed the Zonal Commissioner to write a letter to the concerned Deputy Commissioner of Police for controlling traffic and to check eve teasing at the venue.
Co-option Member Ayesha Rubina, Additional Commissioners C N Raghu Prasad, L Vandan Kumar, Ashok Reddy, P Anuradha, Jayaraj Kennedy, and senior officials from Vigilance, Enforcement, Fire Services and others have participated in the meeting.
