YSRCP demands Assembly resolution on united AP

Hyderabad, Dec 12 : YSR Congress Party MLA V Babu Rao on Thursday demanded that the State Legislative Assembly pass a resolution demanding that the Centre keep Andhra Pradesh united.

Speaking to media persons at the Assembly media point here, Babu Rao said that YSRCP leader Vijay Lakshmi has already raised the demand during the meeting of Business Advisory Committee. However, her request was rejected. He said that the Assembly should pass a resolution on united Andhra Pradesh before taking up any other business.

Babu Rao said that the YSRCP was ready to sacrifice anything for Samaikhyandhra. He also claimed that Vijayamma never supported the division of the State. He said that the party wants the development of Telangana region, but not at the cost of dividing the State. INN
