SHC asks intending Haj pilgrims to keep Passports ready

Hyderabad, Dec 12 : The Andhra Pradesh State Haj Committee has appealed to the intending Haj pilgrims for Haj 2014 to make sure that their passports are ready by February 2014, so that they can submit their passport details, which is a must with Haj applications.

SHC Special Officer Prof SA Shukoor said that the Haj Committee of India may most probably issue and accept Haj application forms for Haj 2014 in the second fortnight of January 2014 and no application will be received without details of Passport which should have validity up to March 2015. He further said that if the passport of any intending pilgrim is going to expire before March 2015 then they should get it renewed before submitting Haj applications forms.

The SHC appealed to all the Haj voluntary societies in the districts to create an awareness among the Muslim community towards this important aspect and guide the people to apply for their passports immediately. INN
