Hyderabad, June 15 : Andhra Pradesh Information Technology Minister Palle Raghunath Reddy on Sunday said that the Telugu Desam Party Government would promote several cities across the residuary State as IT hubs.
Speaking to media persons after assuming charge here, Raghunath Reddy said that IT hubs would be developed on the lines of Hyderabad. However, instead of confining the IT activity in one city, it would be developed in multiple cities. He claimed that it was TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu who developed Hyderabad as IT destination. Similarly, Naidu would develop Andhra Pradesh. He said that the IT giants trust the leadership skills of Chandrababu Naidu and they would accept his invitation to invest in Andhra Pradesh.
Raghunath Reddy also requested the Telugu NRIs to invest in Andhra Pradesh. He said that the TDP Government would take all measures to resolve the issues concerning NRIs and a special cell would be set up for the same.
He also assured to resolve the problems of minorities in Andhra Pradesh. He said since no Muslim MLA from TDP got elected to the Assembly this time, the other members would take up the issues of minorities. He also promised to remove the encroachments from lands belonging to Wakf and Church. He also assured to take major steps to promote and preserve Telugu language and culture.
Raghunath Reddy also announced that he would donate his first month’s salary for the construction of new capital of Andhra Pradesh. INN
