Over 52% pass OU degree exams

Hyderabad, June 13 : As many as 52.4% candidates have passed the degree exams of Osmania University whose results were announced here on Friday.

Releasing the results, OU Vice-Chancellor Prof B Satyanarayana informed that of 44,223 candidates who appeared for BA/B Com, as many as 23,175 passed the exams. The pass percentage for BA was 62.3%, B Com – 52.7% and B Sc 47.7%. He informed that question papers were sent through internet to the exam centres to prevent their leakage. He said the candidates could collect their memos from the respective colleges after July 1.

Prof Satyanarayana also informed that a total of 170,958 including 82,497 girls have appeared for degree 1st, 2nd and 3rd year exams.

He informed that the degrees would be sent to the candidates by post.  INN
