Two drug peddlers foreigners arrested by west zone special team

Hyderabad, June 13 : On the credible information that drug peddling is going on in the Banjara Hills limits, the Banjara Hills Police and West Zone special team swung into action and apprehended one “COLO” (one Kenyan National) who found in possession of Cocaine drug at opposite GVK Mall in the lane of Road No. 4, immediately Collins Ochieng @ Colo (42) an Private business Resident of Yapral, Native of Kenya was apprehended on Friday 8 am along with [3] Gram Cocaine drugs. During interrogation, COLO admitted that he used to bring Cocaine drug from A1 Dutun Akingola (55) an businessman Resident of Shaili Garden, Yapral, Sainikpuri, Secunderabad native of Nigeria for Rs.3,000 each gram and uses to supply to the needy customers for higher margin. Subsequently, Dutun Akingola was nabbed from his residence from Yapral and recovered 6 Grams of Cocaine drug from his possession. Total (9) Grams of Cocaine drug has been seized from them.

The Accused Duntun Akingola came to India in the year 2008 on Business Visa and in the guise of business he is doing Cocaine to the needy customers mainly popular personalities and celebrities as they can give huge money for these drugs. He was earlier arrested in 2011 by West Zone Police with 3 grams of Cocaine and is being faced trial in Nampally Court. His Nigerian Passport was seized by the Nampally court.

The accused Collins Ochieng popularly known as “Colo” in the twin cities for Cocaine peddling, came to India in the year 1991 on student Visa for studying graduation in Hyderabad and he returned to Kenya in the year 1995. Again in the year 1998 he visited Hyderabad on same visa and since then he is staying illegally in Hyderabad. In the year 2010, the Excise Police arrested him along with (5) grams Affidrin drug. Again in the year 2012 Task Force Hyderabad Police arrested him for possessing (2) grams of Cocaine and the case is under trial.

The above two foreigners stopped drug peddling for some time due to police constant persuasion and again they started searching for new customers who are addicted to these drugs as police close surveillance is being continued on old drug addicted persons. In the part of that they came to Banjara Hills at opposite GVK Mall in the lane of Road No. 4, for supplying of drugs to some persons. West Zone police team and Banjara Hills police already having close surveillance on their movements taken them into custody and seized 9 grams Cocaine from their possession.

In the recent past lot of adverse publicity on this Drug peddling and lot of celebrities are being addicted to these drugs, police took this as priority issue and constant surveillance was being kept on the drug peddlers and drug addicted persons and as a part of this, today arrested these two drug peddlers. The persons details of the persons who are contacting these peddlers will be ascertained in due course of investigation. V. Satyanarayana DCP West Zone Hyderabad said.

Dowry Harassment drives woman to suicide

Hyderabad, June 13 : A 24-year-old house wife committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence in Mirjalguda of Malkajgiri.

According to Malkajgiri police, deceased M Rani (24) an Housewife W/o Jacob Veda Nayakam R/o Mirjalguda of Malkajgiri had committed suicide by hanging at her residence on Friday morning hours, deceased husband allegedly mentally and physically harassed for additional dowry of rupees one lakh for last few weeks, deceased taking extreme step of suicide hanged herself at her residence.

Malkajgiri police registered a case of dowry harassment and dead body shifted to Gandhi Hospital Mortuary for postmortem, after autopsy deceased body handed over to her relatives and began investigations.

Boy killed in train accident

Hyderabad, June 13 : A 16-year-old boy died of injuries after he was hit by a train while trying to cross the railway track at Metlakunta.

According to Vikarabad Railway Police, the deceased Sachin (16) an Agriculturist S/o Ashok Resident of Metlakunta of Medak district, while trying to cross the railway track near his house on June 3, suddenly one speeding train hit due to which he received multiple injuries, immediately rushed to Gandhi Hospital for treatment where undergoing treatment he was died on Friday early hours.

The Vikarabad Railway Police registered a case and dead body shifted to Gandhi Hospital Mortuary for postmortem, after autopsy deceased body handed over to his relatives.

Newly Wed commits suicide

Hyderabad, June 13 : A 23-year-old house wife committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence in KPHB.

According to KPHB police, deceased Vijaya (23) an Housewife W/o Kishore R/o KPHB had committed suicide by hanging at her residence on Thursday night hours, after few weeks of the marriage deceased husband allegedly mentally and physically harassed for additional dowry, deceased taking extreme step of suicide hanged herself at her residence on Thursday night hours.

Vijaya married with Kishore on March 5, 2014.

KPHB police registered a case of harassment under section 304 B and dead body shifted to Gandhi Hospital Mortuary for postmortem, after autopsy deceased body handed over to her relatives and began investigations.
