Digivijay, Jaipal hopeful of alliance with TRS

New Delhi/Hyderabad, March 8 : AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh on Saturday expressed hopes of having a pre-poll alliance with the Telangana Rashtra Samithi.

Speaking to media persons, Digvijay Singh admitted that the Congress High Command was in touch with TRS President K Chandrasekhar Rao and a decision on alliance would be taken after holding discussions with the TRS Committee headed by K Keshava Rao. He also informed that separate PCCs for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh would be formed soon.

Meanwhile, Union Minister S Jaipal Reddy asked KCR not to announce candidates for the ensuing elections. He said any hasty move would cause harm to both the Congress and TRS in the next elections.   INN
