Special Deputy Collector Urban land ceiling in ACB net

Hyderabad, Feb 15 : Special Deputy Collector, Urban Land Ceiling, Nampally, Hyderabad, was trapped by A.C.B. Officials on Feb 14 at 5-35 p.m., when he demanded and accepted bribe of Rs. 50,000 (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) through his son in the O/o. Urban Land Ceiling, Nampally, Hyderabad for processing and recommending for ‘No Objection Certificate’ to the complainant. The tainted amount was recovered from the Accused Officer.

Both the Accused were arrested and are being produced before the Honorable Special Judge for SPE & ACB Cases, Hyderabad. Case is under investigation.

Car driver commits suicide

Hyderabad, Feb 15 : A 32 year old Car Driver hanged himself on Friday night hours in Banjara hills police limits.

According to Police, Deceased Ch. Raja Ram, (32) from Singadikunta in Banjara Hills hanged himself to death on Friday. The family members informed the police that he slipped into depression over some family issues and might have ended his life over it. Banjara Hills Police registered a case and dead body shifted to Osmania Hospital Mortuary for postmortem.

Hyderabad, Feb 15 : On credible information a case of Disproportionate Assets was registered against a Chief Engineer (Vigilance & Quality control), Rural Water Supply & Sanitation, Panchayat Raj & Rural Development Department, Erramanzil, Hyderabad and searches were conducted on Feb 14 simultaneously at the residential buildings situated at Hyderabad, and his relatives and close associates located at Hyderabad.

Movable and Immovable Properties worth about Rs. 1,83,62,592 (approximately) were unearthed and Bank lockers are yet to be opened.

The Accused Officer is being arrested and will be produced before A.C.B Court, Hyderabad. The case is under investigation.

Laborer killed in road accident

Hyderabad, Feb 15 : A 50-year old Laborer killed in road accident after hit by Unidentified while crossing the road near Auto nagar signal of Vanasthalipuram.

The deceased was identified as C Srinivasulu (50) of Ganesh Nagar Colony of Uppal, the accident occurred on Feb 13 evening hours when deceased was crossing the road near Autonagar signal suddenly one Unknown vehicle hit due to which deceased was received severe injuries, immediately shifted to Osmania Hospital for treatment where he died on Friday night hours.

Vasasthalipuram Police registered a case and dead body shifted to OGH Mortuary for postmortem.

Watchman dies after falling from height

Hyderabad, Feb 15 : A 42 year old Watchman died of injuries which he suffered after falling from fifth floor of a building.

According to Madhapur police, the deceased, P Satyanarayana, S/o Rama rao, a watchman
R/o Madhapur Native of West Godavari district. On Friday evening hours deceased while working on the fifth floor of a building suddenly falling from height due to which he received multiple injuries immediately shifted to nearest private hospital for treatment where doctors declared brought dead.

Madhapur police registered a negligence case under section 304A and dead body shifted to Osmania hospital mortuary for Postmortem. Case is under investigation.

ACB arrests crorepati Chief Engineer

Hyderabad, Feb 15 : The Anti-Corruption Bureau has unearthed assets worth over Rs 1.83 crore belonging to the Chief Engineer of Panchayat Raj Department here on Saturday.

According to the ACB, a case of Disproportionate Assets has been registered against a Chief Engineer (Vigilance & Quality control), Rural Water Supply & Sanitation, Panchayat Raj & Rural Development Department, Erramanzil, Hyderabad, and searches were conducted on Friday simultaneously at the residential buildings owned by him, his relatives and close associates in Hyderabad.

During searches, the ACB unearthed movable and immovable properties worth about Rs. 1,83,62,592 (approximately). The bank lockers are yet to be opened.

The Accused Officer is being arrested and will be produced before the ACB Court, Hyderabad. The case is under investigation.
