Digvijay Singh demands action against erring MPs

New Delhi, Feb 13 : AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh demanded stern action against the MPs who resorted to violence during the tabling of Telangana Bill in Lok Sabha on Thursday.

“Such unruly act and behaviour by a MP has put the Indian democracy at shame,” he said while urging upon Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar and Rajya Sabha chairman Hamid Ansari to take stern action in this matter. “Enough is enough. We have to take strong and stringent action as provided in the rules of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Action should be taken against all those who put the Indian democracy to shame,” he said.  INN
